Twenty two Ghanaian were arrested on Sunday, March 27 by detectives from the Directorate General of Residency Affairs in the course of an immoral party held at a restaurant in Fahaheel area, says Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry.
According to the statement, the detectives acting upon a tip-off concerning an ongoing immoral party at a restaurant in Fahaheel area, dispatched a team of detectives to verify the information.
The officers took necessary legal measures and raided the restaurant after confirming the authenticity of the report, and arrested 22 Ghanaians; six male and 16 female, and all of them were in violation of Article 20 of Residency Law.
They were referred to concerned authorities for legal measures action.
