Usher has returned legal fire on the trio of accusers suing him in Los Angeles with allegations he exposed them to genital herpes.
In new documents obtained by the Daily News, Usher denies “each and every allegation” made by the two women and one man who filed a joint lawsuit last month claiming sexual battery, fraud, negligence and infliction of emotional distress.
The R&B singer says even if sexual contact did take place, there was never any intent to harm.
“Any alleged conduct by defendant, which is expressly denied, was unintentional,” his filing in Los Angeles County Superior Court states.
The paperwork, filed by the singer’s lawyers Laura Wasser and Zia Modabber, also claims “each plaintiff assumed the risk of any alleged harm,” in any sexual contact that took place.
“Any harm that any plaintiff alleges to have suffered was caused in whole or in part by that plaintiff’s own negligence,” the filing states.
Usher’s response further accuses the plaintiffs of “unclean hands,” meaning he believes they’ve acted unethically.
