Madhara, who is alleged to have collected between $250 and $300 from desperate students, was suspended yesterday to pave way for investigations after about 15 complainants wrote to the party exposing the scam.
The scam has since been reported to the police in Rusape.
Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Tavhiringwa Kakohwa, confirmed receiving reports from three complainants.
Madhara is alleged to have approached prospective students desperate to secure places at local colleges and made them pay between $250 and $300 on the pretext that he would secure places for them.
